Snowballs

Being hit with a snowball is potentially more painful than a punch in the face. I've never understood how there's such a place in society for this virtual violence. When I see some little shit, snowball in hand, cowardly on the lookout for one defenceless victim, I plainly want to batter them.

Admittedly, I went to a school where a snowball was rarely just a snowball - it usually consisted of snow that coated another, more harmful element, such as glass or stone. I have been subject to many a particularly nasty snowballing experience.

Is it time the law stepped in?

Anyone over 12 throwing snowballs (without children) should have their hands removed.

When I was 13 I saw Velma Hickory break her jaw when a snowball slammed into the side of her face.

Is there is any reason to venture out and risk a snowballing in these enlightened times. With schools shut, trains not running and all and sundry taking "snow days" from work. Order a takeaway and beer on-line and put your feet up.

The coppers will probably be too busy filling out risk assessment forms to attend in any case.

Show some respect! She's long time dead, she fell into a vat of cat food when we were on a school trip in 1994.

I threw a snowball at a teacher I hated at school. I missed and hit the little girl stood next to her. She ended up with the biggest black eye you've ever seen. I got away with it though so it's ok.
