Blue Hot Years begin...

I am watching the Oldham V Everton game right now and it's so exciting to see an under dog taking on a big team and really putting it up them. Oldham knocked out Liverpool in round 4 and they might do it today against Everton. (Just gone 1-0 up)

Blue Hot Years doesn't have the same ring to it but it reminds me of when we were in league division 2 and we beat Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, Wolves, Aston Villa and Norwich (all higher division sides). We also came close to beating a Premier League Oldham side back in those days while we were a lower division team. We were also unlucky not to take scalps against Sheff Wed and Derby County (well not so much Derby).

It finished 2-2, Oldham's 95th minute equaliser would never have been given in a league game, unless it was Stoke v Bolton and Stoke had scored it....
