Also sour cream and onion from Aldi -less than half the price of Pringles and twice as good

Aldi "Pringles" - bang on the money

Never tried them from Aldi - may have a dabble next time i'm in there.
They're called Stackers- in about 4 different flavours. Like everyting in Aldi- good value

I used to love the Walkers Sensations Mexican Chipotle.

Wish they would bring them back!

I've just seen that their Worcester sauce flavour crisps have been discontinued too which is a bit of a shocker. Shocked

Flavoured crisps are poison and Walkers are even worse. The only crisps allowed into Bobsworth Towers are Fiddlers Lancashire 'Only Spuds' crisps.

Do you just prefer plain or salted crisps then Bob?

We don't usually buy Walkers to be fair and much prefer the Seabrook branded crisps especially the Prawn Cocktail and Worcester Sauce flavour ones.

We do tend to buy the Lidl Deluxe Thai sweet chilli these days amongst others in their range that are rather nice.

Have you ever tried the vegetable crisps? They are not bad with a beer.

We are fortunate enough to have a local Booths supermarket. Its a bit more expensive but they stock a large range of Fiddlers crisps. The unsalted 'Only Spuds' variety seem to be the crisps of choice of Booths cognoscenti customers but we buy them because they are simply the best.

I'm rather surprised that Bob, of all people, deals with Fiddlers. Although Booths is certainly well versed in fiddling.
But we won't go there.
I like those Walkers tomato ketchup flavoured crisps, although they do crack my lips to buggery.

I expect Saint Albert was ....erm.... a saint, was he Boncey?

Anyroad you should think yourself lucky if you've only got chapped lips from eating that poison.

I used to love going to Booths in Carnforth as a kid. The place was so much better laid out than Asda and probably still is.

By the way, Anyone for a packet of Scampi flavoured fries? Very Happy

They used to sell some very nice tins of pea soup. Not sure if they still do. Most seem to be pea and ham these days.

I may have mentioned this before but the flavourings are just chemicals and the advertised flavour uses auto suggestion.
Back in the 70s a new flavour was launched and the landlord at our pub put several bowls out for the punters to "guess the flavour" - with a prize of £20 for anyone who got it right. Busy Saturday night and there were loads of guesses, all wrong.
At the end of the night, landlord decided to give it to guess number 75 who went with "fish".

That was the launch of Prawn Cocktail crisps.
