Never suffered physical or violent crime, but had stuff stolen out my van while working on some of Boltons finest estates.

My parents house was also robbed while I was living there when I was younger.

Several cars broken into over the years

Ive had a car stolen and my shed broken in to.

but that's about it.

My parents had 3 big dogs (Bullmastiff, old English sheepdog and a Labrador) all soft as shit but the size of them would have kept burglars the away.

I Now have a Bulldog called Winston and a Bullmastiff

Moral of the story...

Dont want to get burgled... get a big dog and make sure they can be seen thorough the patio doors.

Always some chav nob who has one of those super agressive breeds and walks around town with a heavy chain lead instead of a normal one.

leading to the kind of shit we see on the news this week.

RIP that poor girl.

It's about time they banned chavvy dogs like the Staffordshire Bull Terrier & Bullmastiff.

totally agree.

Dogs are wild animals and those breeds bred to be agressive should be in the control of trained handlers only.

I've been assaulted by the police a couple times.

And racially abused by some black people.

why does having a Bulldog make me a chav? they are like the cutest, softest things ever! the Bullmastiff is actually the mother and fathers, they rescued it as a pup from a pound, it looked a bit mournful and they fell for it. It only stays with me now and again when they are away.

Fuck off Hipster.

Bullmastiff are not bred to be fighters, they were a combination of the English mastiff and English bulldog, bred by landowners to help catch poachers. As a matter of fact, they were used to catch poachers and SIT on them until the landowners caught up with them - they have an inherent state of mind to NOT BITE!

That said - you can make ANY dog viscous if you want to, Bullmastiff are a big dog - but only as much as a big Labrador or Retriever, when dogs turn Vicious its the fault of the owner not the dog.

I understand that some dogs are bred for fighting - and that these are inherently dangerous, Bullmastiff's Dont come under that category and nor do bulldogs.

As a matter of fact, they are both soft as shit, it takes twice as long to walk them as everybody wants to stop and stroke them. They are Kennel club registered pedigree dogs, come from good stock and are well raised.

DO some research hipster before you go off on a rant about dangerous dogs. a poodle is capable of killing if brought up to do so.

I know someone with a massive bullmastiff. It's a great dog.

If the owners are responsible there isn't a problem imo.

Sadly not all dog owners are responsible though.

Thats just one search.

Most of those dogs are known agressive breeds Alsatians, Bulldogs, Mastiffs.

No need to be abusive Rebel.

SO whats the point your making?

all dogs can (and have) attack - regardless of breed or size.

Belive it or not, the dog that's most aggressive to humans is the Yorkshire Terrier.

Its down to owners stupidity that most big good nature dogs turn violent.

I suspect your scared of dogs if im honest and want them all put down.

also, just for the record - your always the first to tell somebody they have made a stupid assumption, you made a stupid assumption that I have a Bulldog (and sometimes a Bullmastiff) to look 'hard' - I dont, they are pets and brought up to be soft not aggressive. they also walk on harness's and not 'massive chains' as you put it...
