Last 10 games:

Bolton point tally: 21

Cardiff point tally: 15

Last 5 games:

Bolton point tally: 12

Cardiff point tally: 7

Cardiff have slowed down near the end, and I reckon all we will need is a draw.

Confident for play-offs at the moment.

I think we could get a draw or even win it, we will be well up for it they are in party mode, job done.

Do you think Medo and Holden could be in our centre midfield ?

Fingers crossed we will only need a point against Blackpool on the last game of the season.

COYWM.

If we do get to Wembley for the playoff final, I'm going to get redemption put on the back of my Bolton shirt.

Some of you are dreaming.

This is a big game for Bolton. These players are proven bottlers, I fully expect a drubbing.

Bellamy against Alonso - oh dear.

Another good turn out by the Wanderers fans. Only 100 tickets left for sale this morning. 1600 sold already.

It'll be a sell out, great stuff.

Lets hope they all come back three points better off.

Prove that we are worthy of promotion....go there and outplay them...don't be scared. Get three points and take all the pressure off the Blackpool game.
Should we get promoted there will be a lot harder away games than this....so put up or shut up.
I'll except getting beat by a late 89th minute penalty as long as we are well in the game and do our best.

Even if Watford win tonight, Forest can still pip us so I reiterate we need a win at Cardiff to remain in control going into the last game.

If Leicester lose then a draw and a win will see us through, unless Forest beat Millwall or Leicester 5 or 6 - nil.

That's not true Lofty. The GD difference between us and Forest as of now is 4. If we draw at Cardiff and Forest beat Millwall as expected it will be less (3 max) and given the way Millwall are leaking goals at the moment Forest could get a hatful - even Rovers scored 2 against them and Rovers are shit compared to Forest.

Plus we have to at least equal Leicester's final 2 results.

Does anyone actually think Dougie will go for it at Cardiff?

It'll be one upfront and play for a 0-0 draw.

Probably, although it will be described as "containment with a view to scoring on the break" or "controlling the game when out of possession". Appearance of striker sub when there's 20 minutes left.

Head-to-head

• Bolton beat Cardiff 2-1 when they crossed swords at the Reebok in November, despite having one of their goal scorers David Ngog sent off in the closing minute.

• The Trotters are now chasing a fifth successive victory over Cardiff in league and cup and back-to-back doubles over them, after achieving home and away triumphs when last in the same division together in 1989-90 at third league level.

• Cardiff have won three of their last 12 clashes with Bolton, losing all nine of the other games.
