Tyrone Mears out for SIX WEEKS

Owen Coyle has revealed that Tyrone Mears could be out for six weeks after having a screw removed from the leg he broke in pre-season.

On a more positive note, Kevin Davies has been ruled out for the next three games.

It shows how bad the team selection was on Saturday that the fact Mears didn't play despite playing well against Norwich hasn't even crossed most people's minds.

I had a screw removed from my leg when I was younger, within 48 hours I was playing in the first round of the Nestle UK Tennis Championships.
