FA Cup v Being in the Prem/Old Division One ???

What do you think is the most prestigious.

Winning the Fa cup, were your name goes down in history.

Or being in the top division, even though you struggle.

Got to be in the league. I mean you ask Wigan which they would rather have - win the FA cup final or stay up and they will say stay up.

Maybe 20 years ago when the FA cup was a big thing then yes for sure the FA cup. I used to love the FA cup final in the 1980s, remember the Liverpool v Everton 1989 final? Wimbledon winning it, Coventry v Spurs? They were awesome days. Nowadays I couldn't even tell you who won the FA cup final in years like 2009, 2011, etc. Just shows how insignificant it has become.

Winning a trophy, fortunes change at all football clubs over time good years and bad, win the FA cup for me every time.

I always used to say league.

I'd settle for winning the fa cup and being in the championship now though.
