Team news for Saturday: -

- Mark Davies has been given the all-clear to face Chelsea this weekend after a fitness scare.

-Joe Riley is a doubt with a bruised foot.

- Kevin Davies is still out with a knee problem but could return to training early next week with medical approval.

A fitness scare? Did he break a nail while running on the treadmill?

Bruised foot?

What a bunching of fecking tarts. John McGinlay once played with a broken neck!!

I hate footballers.

If everything goes well we might get something from the game. Unfortunately I can't remember the last time everything went well. Chelsea aren't what they were though.

As always, I live in hope rather than expectation.

Hi, my first post.
SKD is definitely out for the Chelsea game but he has been told he can do light training starting next week. It's not a serious issue but just tendinitis. Ice and rest for the next few days and hopefully be fully back after that!

Hello and welcome Spyder.

Good insider information

Hope Davies soon recovers but i hope that Coyle doesn’t feel the need to select him. He’s been stalwart for the team over the years unfortunately it looks as though age as finally caught up with him.

Would you still like to see Davies in the starting eleven or is it time to go 4-5-1 with Ngog these days?

If Coyle uses 4-5-1 the we might have a chance of getting a draw, otherwise if Coyle uses 4-4-2 then I will be watching a completely different match as we will be handing 3 points to Coyle's "good" friend AVB!!!

4-5-1 formation 1-1

4-4-2 formation 3-0

If Coyle had any sense he'd go there and defend like warriors and put someone with pace upfront like Ryo or Ngog on the off chance we can catch them on the break.

If it's 0-0 after half an hour the Chelsea fans will get restless and Chelsea will be as vulnerable as they've ever been.

Of course it'll be 4-4-2 and we'll go all out for a victory and lose 4-0.

Coyle out.

Thanks for the welcome guys. No way KD will be included tomorrow and it's looking like 451 like you prefer to see at the moment. Come on Wanderers!

Welcome to the forum Spyder, great name, was it inspired by Micro Machines for the Sega Mega Drive? Love that game!
