I'm jinxed with football, my team went to Wembley and got beat 5-0 in the semi final, the season after they got relegated, the season after they missed out on the play-offs on goal difference.

And my biggest rival has just won the FA cup, I don't think my numbers will come in on the Lotto tonight some how.

Yes he is English, born in Liverpool. Released by Everton when he was 17.

I think that he's a Scouser, Burnley were after him on loan at the start of the season.

The Wigan starting eleven was similar in cost to bringing Johan Elmander to Bolton.

Their efficiency since they came up has been unbelievable and puts us to shame.

It's sickening the number of technically decent/brilliant players they've brought in over the years (Valencia, Rodellega, Palacios, Diame, Moses, McCarthy, Gomez, Beausejour, Kone, Maloney etc.) at healthy prices, while we've spent £4-10m on several pieces of mediocrity. Not to mention the difference in wage bills.

If Wigan do get relegated they'll go straight back up because they are a well run club.

Eddie Davies and Phil Gartside take note.

They do have some clever players and when i see them i like the way they pass it around with pace, but they've conceded a league high goals and i bet they were probably top of that "table" year on year.

you need to strike a balance and clearly they dont.

I dont think they will, they will have a relegation headache and will probably lose some of their players such as McManaman (who was amazing last night). If they do get relegated then i predict they will finish 8th!
