Did anyone see the programme last night? set in Scunthorpe or Scumthorpe it told a story about life on a council estate were most of the residents were unemployed some because the steel works had closed others because they where drug taking thieving lazy scumbags. It centered around a guy who had 7 kids from 2 relationships, a right fat gobby mess bragging about the contents of his fridge which was full of knock off meats he had bought on the cheap, I really hope local Police can take action against him? unemployed or not he was a disgusting foul mouthed layabout.

I caught about 5 minutes.

I wasn't really sure what this programe was trying to "tell" me or "say" apart from, look at this lowlife people, objectify them.

I watched it. Was it not Sheffield? That fat guy who bought stolen meat actually had 2 children with his wife and she already had 5 from previous relationships. He'd also worked for 23 years before losing his job. Apart from buying stolen goods I don't think he was too bad a guy tbh. That 15 year old lad was a right little twat though. Totally out of control and treats his mum like shit. I felt sorry for her.
