I think these serial offenders that put lives at risk and only get banned for 18 months should get life bans, what do you think?

Nothing joyful about their behaviour whatsoever. They should be called Miseryriders.

I don't think joyriders give a fuck about getting banned from driving.
Doubt it'll stop them.
Chop their hands off.

Extensive prison sentences.
The bastards get banned and just go and nick a car anyway, its no deterrent.

I am surprised with our justice system that they aren't given free cars and free fuel to have a drive about with. They are shocking, my car once tried to be stolen by joyriders and they caused £300 worth of damage that I had to pay myself to sort out and the police never even turned up.

I once witnessed a car getting stolen. A guy backed his car out of his garage, when he got out of the car (which he left running) to close the garage door four lads jumped in and took off at high speed.
He called the police and, to be fair, they were there in 10 minutes. They asked me for a description and all I could say was "four chavs".
