Towards the end of the season some comentators were blaming the number of games that Chelsea had played this season as a reason for them sometimes playing below par. Well, the seaon finished on Sunday and they are playing City in St Louis on thursday and again in New York on Saturday.

I find it funny that managers always complain about "too many games"
there's 82 games in the NBA season and many are "back to back" on different sides of the country.
Footballers are wimps basically.

Fair point. At the end of the day they have big squads nowadays, part and parcel of football is rotating your squad. I happen to be very good at it on football manager.

If a team is doing shit a PL manager will always blame too many games. If his team are doing well he will criticise the international break.
