Should the Nuts posters be worried about this American Cyber Snooper?

Personally, I couldn't care less if good old Uncle Sam chooses to spend part of his overtime budget eavesdropping on my internet porn addiction. If it stops innocent people being blown to pieces by some deluded fanatic wearing an explosive kaftan then I say go for it.

I sometimes worry about the civil liberties brigade. They are so quick at banging the drum that I am convinced that they have something to hide.

If you put the word 'Jihad' in a post, then your post will eventually be read by our gun toting cousins.

I believe that the NSA have a massive computer that picks up on key words in relation to terrorism. Every millionth time the word is mentioned it then follows a trail of previous correspondence in a similar way to how forensic scientists build up a DNA profile from family members.

It's all fascinating stuff. I'm just thankful that my senile, elderly, next door neighbour was kind enough to give me a spare key for his garden shed to store my mower. If the Rozzers ever visit his shed, he is going to be hard pushed to explain all the fertilizer and rusty nails.

I once typed 'leek and potato soup' and I was visited by the IRA and the Plaid Cymru heavies.

I managed to worm my my out of it by offering them a bowl of soup each.

I charged them for the crusty bread though.

Funnily enough, I was toying with the idea of emigrating to Wales, what with it being a secular state and all that. I lost interest when the head of the Welsh Assembly, Ron Davies, got done for a spot of Badger Baiting on Clapham Common. His nocturnal behaviour totally ruined the credibility of the Sons of Glyndwr.

Although they can act as a balance in some situations, they sometimes seem to forget that its because of the Intelligence Services, as well as the military, that they are able to say, and behave, as they can.

Funny how Obama said Bush was wrong for doing this, but now it's OK.

If he's so worried about who people are talking to on their phones and what they are saying in their emails, he should be forced to listen to phone calls, and read all the emails of the people on this forum before he goes to bed each night - he' be on suicide watch within a week.
