DF on financial responsibility

Give credit to DF for his sensible approach to spending (unlike his predecessors):

As to Alonso (from BEN):

If DF can maintain that attitude and still get players to sign for the club (those who want to play as he said), then our fortunes may once again be bright. Bravo!

Dougie is a canny sod! I still believe he will be spending big on a striker this summer. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dougie bid around £5 million for Charlie Austin.

i'm becoming more and more impressed with DF's professional attitude to all things - bringing back the sports science, improved scouting to name but two. He is a breath of fresh air compared to Coyles sunday league set-up.

Not really sure what else he could say.

TBF I remember coyle saying the same thing about not spending beyond our means

What he's really saying is "Phil told me there's no money, so get rid of anybody that you can and replace them with some cheap alternative from a lower division"
