As things stand, and with the talk of Eagles playing more centrally, I'm wondering if there's a need to find an immediate replacement.
Ngog has been played as an advanced central midfielder rather than striker, so maybe Eagles is destined for that role for now, at least until Mavies is ready to rumble? If that's what Dougie has in mind he can focus his transfer efforts elsewhere, bolstered by income from the Ngog sale.
Wouldn't mind a swap for Henri Saivet who is basically a winger but can play as a pacy striker. He may be a kid but he knows where the goal is and could easily convert to a central striker a la Terry Henry.
But I think Bordeaux would want to keep their kids and replace Bellion (the one who was at Sunderland) who is now in his 30s.

Unless he is going to be offered and sign a new deal he needs to go now rather than go on a free next summer. Can't see us getting anywhere near 3 million but if its true get the deal done.

Decent at holding up the ball but that's it, his goal ratio is piss poor and for £3mill you could get a good goal scorer at this level for that IMO.
