There's nothing better than fresh bread.

Just been into Booths and the French stick was still warm. Bloody lovely.

Goes down a treat with fava beans and a nice chianti.

What is your favourite bread?

I love Asda bread. Particularly tiger or sesame seed bread. Spread some Country Life in a Tiger baguette, throw on some German salami and you've got doffcocker's favorite meal.

Yes, Asda bread is better than Sainsburys bread I have to say.

Bread is ace, and one of lifes cheaper luxuries.

Yes fresh bread is lovely I agree. I love spreading loads of butter on, then chicken breast from a freshly cooked chicken with stuffing and cranberry sauce. God I could eat about 100 of them on the bounce.

Stop trying to hijack my bread thread with tales of eggs and HP sauce.

I like to make my own when I can.

My favourites are the Multigrain and Sundried tomato and parmesan ones.

Tesco's and Asda's fresh bread is the best I've tasted from the main supermarkets. Sainsbury's bread is pretty dire to be honest.

Waterfields make superb bread as well, their Tin bread is great, they also make a superb G.I. Bread, that really is very nice!

I think Morrisons bread is the crappest. Doughy.

Used to make garlic and rosemary focacchia which was the mutz nutz but stopped eating bread as I was becoming a fb. No bread for 5 years now apart from tortillas when making burritos and fajitas. Culinary magic.
