Smegson clinging on?

The Mirror reckons The Ginger One is having trouble staying friends with his latest chairman (Gary Megson? No...never!), and could find himself unemployed this week despite the derby.

I'd be disappointed if they chucked him as mainly thanks to his greasiness and going from PR nightmare to genius overnight, a lot of the Wednesday fans are still behind him. We want our official 'we told you so' moment and with them sliding, it's on its way.

From his point of view, at least it would give him the opportunity to go in search of work where he can enjoy a decent relationship with his employers. You know what they say - ten times lucky.

I thought Megson and Mandaric were big mates.

Megson has a higher friend turnover rate than any normal person. He had a very good relationship with Gartside for a period and it didn't last.

We need to move on.

Nobody needs to move on. There's no direct unfavourable consequences of people slagging Megson off.
