It is hard to know just how good Court Pastoral is, three good wins at classes 4 and 5, but this class 1 race will be a real test. It has a chance for sure although Phiz and Special Meeting stood out for me in that race, but your selection will be up there.Reebok Trotter wrote:I have had a tenner on both Court Pastoral in the 3.10 and Statutory in the 4.15.
As for the 4:15, hmmm, another tricky race. Statutory bottom weight and one of Johnston's, I am not sure about it, it's form doesn't stand out much for me, but that doesn't mean a lot at times. The one that really caught my eye was Sabor A Triunfo which at 11/1 looks really worth a bet.

My nap for Friday is Bancnuanaheireann in the 5.00 at Newmarket. ( I'm having a fiver e/w at 11-1)
I'll also be backing Wigmore Hall in the 4.25 £10 win at 5-1

Not a bad effort, 6 of the 9 won, and on another day you would fancy Man Utd, Man City and Bolton to win those games.aaron_bwfc wrote:I've gone for a 9 team acca on paddy power today:-

I had £5 e/w and picked up £76 including my £10 stake. What really hacked me off was that I took the morning price of 11-1 and it went out at 14-1 also my other selection was 5-1 but went out at 7-2 after some heavy backing but it finished second.Michael Bolton wrote:Impressive stuff RT, hope you had a few quid on it.Reebok Trotter wrote:Won at 14-1 for a total of £16.00 profit.Reebok Trotter wrote:My nap for Friday is Bancnuanaheireann in the 5.00 at Newmarket.
P.S. I need a 16-1 to overtake you tomorrow.

I have not had a winner for a couple of weeks which is annoying. I will try Walter de la mare in the 2pm in bath, I think it has a chance at a decent price.

It was nice to retain my winner of the month trophy, although my current form has been very poor.Reebok Trotter wrote:No winners today so MB wins with a profit of £30.50 for the month.
October is likely to be my last month doing my picks as I start a new job in November and won't have time to look at the horses or post during the day.
