One thing Diouf could add to the squad is he's a player who can hang on to the ball and win free kicks when we're defending a lead in the last 10 minutes which is something we struggled with last season. Don't think he'd like to be used as a late sub specifically for that job but it's his main attribute these days.

We're all being very optimistic of the new players that Dougie is bringing in- and bringing Doufie back would just deny one of them the shirt.
He's yestedays man so we should leave him where he is. He won't be able to reproduce the form he had years ago. He's not part of the solution.

Diouf was utter shite for us a 100 years ago, and in keeping with his shite career has continued this form for a succession of clubs. Few players have made so much money with so little talent.

Rather exaggerated comments- but the sentiment is exactly correct

Nobody wants him really and I'd be surprised if he even crossed Dougie's mind. Just saying that if there was anything in it Diouf's only role would be to keep possession up the park and dive a lot.
