Fabregas to United for £25mill?

After missing out on Thiago, seems United will be trying to bring Fabregas back to england.

The Barcelona midfielder has repeatedly said he wants to stay at his hometown club despite difficulty winning over some supporters last season.

That was his second year back in Catalonia following his return from Arsenal, who reportedly have first refusal on Fabregas if Barca decide to sell.

It would be great to see him back in England. But will Barca really sell? They have already sold Thiago. It will only leave them with Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta and Song. I really cannot see Barca selling him. He would be a great signing for United if they got him. Their central midfield looks pathetic. Carrick, Anderson and Cleverley? pfff, our midfield is better than that.

I imagine if they sold him, they have a choice of youth players who could make the step up at Barca.

Fabregas looked very good in the confed cup last month though. As you say uniteds midfield is very weak, lacking in a creative midfielder and a hard man, someone like Fellaini.

Arsenal have 1st refusal, which could make life difficult for Utd.
