Apparently Mears was given a lot of abuse today and was restrained from fighting with a fan!

Considering how unlucky hes been with Injuries since we signed him, I think people need to lay off him. Our fans should NEVER abuse one of our own at a game, it stinks, they are not real fans. 20k a week or not, theyre way out of order.

Knight played well apart from getting caught in possession.We were playing Shrewsbury not Inter Milan.Knight cost us our Premiership place v WBA and his inept defending in the last minute.Then to give him a 2 year contract (thanks ping pong man)3goals away from home against leauge 1 opposition.The forward line looks fine but Knight needs to wake up or maybe his brother sold him some Smak after all that was his business a few years ago and he was racked up.Its not as if he is gonna get any better hopefully a fit Wheater n Baptiste will cover his blunders.One more year n he is gone thank fuck.

411 Bolton fans at Shrewsbury, so it's only a minority that probably abused Mears. I would have done the same, If i had gone today.

I wish the fan was a fighting fan, and would of stood up to the lightweight with a few hard punches from some unusual angles , he'd of wondered what the fuck is going on.

Fucking hell good job he didn't play at right back at Wembley against Stoke with some of the abuse I heard that day.

I'm surprised he was given so much stick at a friendly to be honest.

Mears shouldn't have reacted but must be a lot harder to ignore when there's so little other noise in the stadium.

Like to think the brain dead idiots would be given bans but I doubt they'll have been caught on video.
