Pearce has put out a young team including Gary Cahill. I actually think we can beat the Dutch tonight.

Was quite a good game for a friendly but it just shows how top class opposition can just step it up when ever they like and get 2 quick goals to kill off the opposition.
As good as a captain Parker is, he really isn't good enough for the international level, he was treading water for robbens goal, players like Barry and Milner will get the piss taken out of them in the Euros against good teams.

Agreed, but they should stick with the youth....if they play together for the next few years they could be a threat at the WC.
They need to find a decent central defender though.

The thing is with our central defenders are that England have had the Terry and Rio partnership for so long that now they need 2 new centre backs for a big competition, we are fucked because none of them have ever played with each other, apart from Smalling and Jones.
Our left back position is going to be a very weak area once Cole retires, baines is a fucking liability.

They played alright against a vastly overrated Dutch team.
0-0 would have been a fair result.
They lacked a striker who could hold the ball up. A rooney, even Carrol would have helped last night.
