£85 million for Bale!?

Reports that Real Madrid move in for Bale, and Bale wants to speak to Real Madrid.

Levy is adamant, Bale is not for sale, but surly he can't refuse that amount of cash .

He's a shrewd negotiator is Mr Levy, he will screw every penny out of Real if they want him this summer. Top Chairman in the Premier League.

£85m is way too big an offer to turn down. Top, top player, but £85m could get them some amazing players. I think Spurs are just holding out for the most money they can possibly get.
But I have to say, although Bale is a top player, he is not in Messi or Ronaldo's league. They are on a different planet.

When Bale is 25/26 he will be the best player in the world.

He's worth more than that IMO.

Real Madrid have made a world record bid of over £85m to Tottenham for Gareth Bale, Sky Sports understands.

Real's offer has been on the table for over a week, and Bale is becoming more and more frustrated with the situation.

The bid does not include any Real Madrid players moving to Spurs as part of a package.

Sky Sports understands Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is currently in Miami and that the club's stance - that the Wales international is not for sale - has not changed.

Very good player who may get better but I really don't think he is worth more than Ronaldo when they bought him from United.
