No, definitely not funny. Saw them once in Gatwick departure lounge and they were remarkably unfunny there as well.

Seeing someone walk into a lamppost [as long as they aren't seriously hurt] is funny

No, he reminnds me of a old Comedy Character from years ago Jimmy Clitheroe.

Yes, I remember Jimmy Clitheroe on the radio - seem to recall his mate was called Alfie?

Much preferred shows like Round the Horne - even if I didn't get all the jokes at the time!

I'm old and sad enough to remember Jimmy(known as the Clitheroe kid) Clitheroe unfortunately. Jimmy was only 4ft 3" tall and died of an overdose of sleeping pills on the day of his mum's funeral,aged 51. My favourite radio prog of them days was "I'm sorry I'll read that again". God, I'm an old bugger.
