Cause for Optimism?

Aren't our rivals doing better against better opposition though? Dingles/Man U springs to mind.

Yes, I'm isolating how we've done against these teams, considering we play some coming up, if we continue this form against them, it could be a cause for optimism.

Not really it's just facts.

It proves that the games coming up are very winnable.

and if we win, they lose, it puts us ahead.

With the games we have left we should easily stay up, under almost any other manager I'd be surprised if we didn't.

But under this cluesless manager I have no doubt we will finish 20th.

As I said elsewhere, if we beat those 4 teams we play after City, we are free and clear of relegation. That's a big if, and involves doing the double over Villa.
