Rooney starts.

Chelsea team: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole; Ramires, Lampard; De Bruyne, Oscar, Hazard; Schurrle

(Jose doesn't start with a natural striker for some reason)

United team: De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Carrick, Cleverley; Valencia, Rooney, Welbeck; Van Persie

He'll be watching it in the north east .

Eating popcorn and drinking wine, if Chelsea 'his boyhood team' doesn't win someone will end up in a sports bag that's for sure.

Most negative performance of all time by Chelsea.

If that was Bolton, fans would be calling for the head of Mourinho.

"baffling"

Ask any manager in the Prem if they would be happy with draw at OT.
As for it being boring - yes it was - but not a patch on Bolton v QPR. At least the commentators didn't start talking about the quality of pies available at OT, which they did during the Bolton game.

Surely a team stacked with talent like Chelsea, a team favourites for the title, should be going to a rival looking to make a statement.

Moyes was complaining about Uniteds tough start to the season before a ball was kicked. Chelsea have the European Super Cup on Friday, which means they will have played 4 games before United have played 3, but no complaints from them. Chelsea are using a lot of players and I think Jose is still weighing up his best starting eleven, I for one would be starting Mata in every game, he's not started a game yet and still no games for Luiz. Chelsea tactics worked tonight, just like when they won the CL Final, there are a lot of games to be played - advantage Chelsea. That was United's BEST starting eleven against a Chelsea team who you will probably never see start again.
