Tierney...... Out for FIVE months!

According to Eagles on twitter, he suffered a broken leg and is out for the season.

 Things can only get better eh?

Sad for him, knew it was serious the way he was on the ground, shame also because of the determination he put into the tackle to get the ball.

Didn't know Eagles was on twitter.

Is unberliveable to see how many Bolton player is gettin injured. Is seems to be all the time plus is always for many weeks.

Where are the goals going to come from now...?

I've heard Tierney has a fractured foot and he's out for a few weeks. Better than a broken leg.

MARC Tierney stands to miss at least five months of the season after surgery on his broken foot.

The full-back suffered a fracture close to his ankle during last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Yeovil at the Reebok and will not now return to action until March at the earliest.

Tierney saw a specialist earlier in the week who advised surgery, which is due to be carried out today.

The summer signing from Norwich City had made nine appearances this season. His absence leaves the Whites without a recognised senior left-back, although Tim Ream and Alex Baptiste have both covered the role in the last few months.
