Everybody I know that's ever been stung was minding their own business at the time. I just throw a fit and/or run and have never been stung.

Wasps are the ruination of sitting outside at a nice cafe, with lovely veiws, looking forward to your Ham Salad Sandwich and Pot of Tea.

The bastard starts hovering, then more and more it gets closer toying with you, you're thinking I'll have this twat but there's f, ckall to twat it with, only a napkin.

So you try to look cool instead and hope you don't get stung.

You need to wait till it lands on your ham sandwich and it starts chewing a chunk out out of the ham. Once it's preoccupied with its dinner just squish it with your fork.

I purposely go after them (Wasps) and I've never been stung yet.


As for flies, you should have seen me running around the house with a tea towel this summer.

I'm sad enough (or hate flies enough) that I kept score of kills.
