Defender makes first appearance in a Colchester shirt
Cian Bolger played the full 90 minutes of Colchester United's 1-0 win over Peterborough United on Saturday.
The 21-year-old joined the U's on a one month loan deal on Thursday and helped Joe Dunne's side secure three points against high-flying Peterborough on his first appearance for the club.
Elsewhere, striker Marvin Sordell replaced Yann Kermorgant in the 36th minute of Charlton's 0-0 draw with Wigan Athletic, while Tom Eaves played the last ten minutes of Rotherham United's 1-0 defeat away at Leyton Orient.
Keith Andrews also featured in Brighton's 1-1 draw at home to Watford on Monday evening, playing the full match at the Amex Stadium.
