They said the same thing when he fought De Gale. Groves is a gamer. It's not the size of the dog in a fight but the size of the fight in the dog.Angry Dad wrote:Groves is shit scared and will run like fuck.

I look at groves face and i see a lot of dog in him he's going to lie down and roll over, froch will beat the shit out of him, there is no way that froch will let that snidey little twat get away with anything other than a severe beating, anyone with money on grove's kiss it goodbye.Reebok Trotter wrote:They said the same thing when he fought De Gale. I was considering a bet on Groves yesterday, but the more I looked at the 2 men the more reasons I found to dismiss any chance of Groves winning. If Groves hogs the middle of the ring,as he's promised to do,he'll get battered. I'll give it 6 rounds before Froch ends it.

On paper it's there for Froch to win by a country mile and that's why the bookies have Froch as the clear favourite. Upsets quite often happen in boxing and that's what makes it so interesting.
Remember Lloyd Honeyghan going to America and beating the previously undefeated Donald Curry? Or Tony Sibson knocking out former World Middleweight champion Alan Minter?
Nigel Benn was the odds on favourite to beat Michael Watson but Watson knocked him out.
My head says Froch but my heart says Groves.

I must be mad, but I've gone and stuck £50 quid @7/2 on Groves to win. He better not let me down with his gobby antics.

I wouldn't worry about the pre fight hype. It's mainly to sell tickets. If Groves wins you will have made £175 profit plus you'll get your £50 stake back. Fingers crossed.Culcheth_White wrote:I must be mad, but I've gone and stuck £50 quid @7/2 on Groves to win. He better not let me down with his gobby antics.

What time does the fight actually start? I do hope it's not going to clash with I'm a celebrity which starts at 9.30pm.

Probably depends on how long the fights on the undercard drag on. Supposed to start around 10.Reebok Trotter wrote:What time does the fight actually start? I do hope it's not going to clash with I'm a celebrity which starts at 9.30pm.

I haven't a clue, I suppose it depends on how the other fights pan out. I hope the main event won't be much later than 10.30 pm, otherwise I'll be fooked on a Saturday night.Reebok Trotter wrote:What time does the fight actually start? Well done Scott Quigg, he's a client of ours and he's such a nice lad as well. I just need George Groves to beat Froch and it will be a treble for me with us beating Watford away today.
