WTF is he spouting today?  I don't think anyone on this forum would agree that we don't need better performances.  Nor would anyone agree that we should maintain the tactics Dougie is happy with.

Yes, the number of games is running out.  Yes, there is still time to do something.
Perhaps get rid of that stubborn attitude and CHANGE the tactics. I thought OC was stubborn, but now I'm baffled from a manager who thinks (questionable) that we don't need better performances.

He's got one way of approaching games: Defend deep, allow the opposition to have the ball, block off the middle of the park and hope to stifle the opposition and (possibly) have the lone striker nick something.

Which is nothing new (the Italians invented it in the 60's and called it Catenaccio) and it relies on having someone sat in front of the back four who can actually pass the ball effectively and willing runners who are technically proficient on the ball, when the team breaks forward.

We've got neither.

And Doug ain't got a Plan B.

I think Dougie will do fine. The second half was a bit underwhelming in parts but there is a game plan there, a good game plan, and it will come good. YOu wait and see. I can see what he is planning and I am happy to be patient until the job is done. 

Patience is a virtue trust me, stick with him, it will pay off for us.

I've been patient with Dougie and have never called for him to be sacked but ... enough is enough. A piss poor draw against a feeble Charlton isn't good enough. His post match comments are starting to look scarily like the mindless shit OC came out with. The tactics he chooses don't work. His purchases and loans are very hit and miss. I don't really understand what he expects is going to change.

The only problem with sacking him is who the fuck are we going to get as a replacement? Does anyone think Gartside has a clue? He got lucky with Allardyce but since then? Malky Mackay should be available but I can't see him wanting to come here.
