Does it not fascinate you that the stadium announcer will have said "substitution for Crystal Palace replacing number x Ben Watson, is number x Dougie Freedman", and at that point, 25,000 onlookers won't have had a clue that the player running onto the pitch would one day be the club's manager?
Can you think of any other examples of this? Where you go "who knew that one day he'd..."
