One of Bolton's best ever homegrown talents having come through the youth ranks at a time when Nat Lofthouse was just about to hang up his boots. Lee scored on his Wanderers debut as a teenager and formed a formidable partnership with Wyn Davies at a time when the club slipped into the 2nd division.

John McGovern

Appointed as the club's first ever player manager in the summer of 1982. McGovern had massive success as the captain of Nottingham Forest in the 1970's but his role at Bolton was much more restricted as he balanced hardship on and off the field.

Peter Shilton MBE

Considered to be one of England's finest ever goalkeepers having achieved a record 125 caps for his country. Shilton came to Bolton on non-contract forms and it was widely thought he would not be called into action but his appearance against former club Stoke made him Bolton's oldest ever player.

Hard working striker who became the club's record signing when moving for £3.5 million from Wimbledon in 1997. Holdsworth didn't get the goals as expected in the Premiership but he contributed well to the Wanderers during their days in the old Division 1.

One of a number of loan keepers used throughout the 1993-1994 season to cover for the injured Keith Branagan. Hoult was being kept out of the Leicester team by future Wanderers players Gavin Ward and Kevin Poole and was looking for some first team action with Bruce Rioch's giantkilling Wanderers.

MARRIED footie ace Russell Hoult has been filmed “roasting” a blonde in a shocking sex threesome.

The clip emerged after a mobile phone used to video the romp was LOST.

It isn’t the first time the 6ft 4ins West Brom goalie has been caught out on camera.

Eighteen months ago he sent a woman ten nude snaps of himself over his mobile.

In his latest own goal, Hoult and another man are seen having simultaneous sex with a pretty woman who is naked except for a skimpy black bra.

Father-of-two Hoult, 34, is wearing his soccer club’s polo shirt — and nothing else.

The 56-second sequence shows the woman pleasuring the second man while the keeper has full sex with her.

She turns to the camera and says about Hoult amid laughter: “He’s the real man.”

Then she starts to perform a sex act on the football star.

Friends said yesterday Hoult knew the romp was being filmed. A pal explained: “All those involved are good friends and what happened was supposed to stay between them. But the person filming lost his phone and the clip is being passed around on Bluetooth. Russell is upset but it’s too late.”

In 2005, Hoult sent the nude pics of himself to his secret mistress Sue O’Loughlin, 36.

Five years earlier the keeper, who stars for the Championship side, was fined £300 for kerb crawling.

Another time he was cleared of sending indecent letters to a girl of 15 after his solicitor told JPs they were no worse than “saucy seaside postcards”.

Hoult and wife Donna, 34, last night declined to comment.

I was in the West Upper at the back and we all went "Ooh!", as the sound of Todd's fist connecting with Collywobble's chin shot round the ground like a gun-shot.

And I can't believe it was 17 years ago.......

i sit in the East lower and was right in front of this. I remember the ref just standing back and letting them both get on with it then sending them off!

Not sure this counts, but the best thing we ever got from Derby was Colin Todd who managed both teams. But he transformed our club.
