There was a story going around on Sunday that Powell was being lined up to replace Harry Rednapp at QPR. I know football's gone mental these days but by any standards that would take some believing.

I read that Powell had a fallout with the clubs owner, so it's not really a surprise. Let's hope whoever replaces Powell, gives Sordell a chance and hopefully, take him off our hands permanently.

I suspect any half decent manager will have Sordell heading back North before the weekend is with us.

Stuart Pearce always picked Sordell for the U21's, hopefully, he'll get the job.Natasha Whittam wrote:Culcheth_White wrote:I read that Powell had a fallout with the clubs owner, so it's not really a surprise. I think they've already given the job to some chap from Belgium called Jose Riga.

Can anybody identify the ghostly grey haired figure stood behind Powell? I recognised him straight away!

Maybe that picture was taken when Charlton were playing Newcastle, possibly in a pre-season friendly.
