The smug git even kept a personal letter which one of his victims had written to him. She posted the letter in 2011 in which she challenged him over his abuse of her as a child. At the time that she posted the letter, she had never reported the matter to the police.

In 2012 she was so incensed at seeing Clifford on TV describing Operation Yewtree as a celebrity witch hunt that she contacted the police.

The Old Bill found her letter in Clifford's bedside drawer which he had obviously kept for his own gratification. Pretty damning evidence especially when on interview he denied ever knowing the victim. Any genuinely innocent person would have contacted the police on receiving such a letter.

Sorry Scott. Now I think about it, he's probably grooming you.  

Eight years! What a result! Even with good behaviour he will have to serve at least four.
