Having been denied a share of the spoils in an entertaining clash at the County Ground a week ago, Wanderers’ youngsters shall be hoping for a return to winning ways against the Gunners.
A side which head to the North West having lost three of their last five games, Arsenal enter Monday's clash having suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in their last fixture on Friday.
They did however emerge victorious in a 5-3 thriller with West Ham United last Monday – a game which saw England youth international Chuba Akpom notch a hat trick in the Gunners’ first league victory of the calendar year.
Wanderers themselves do boast a striking threat of their own in the form of frontman Georg Iliev, with the Bulgarian having notched six times in his last five outings, including a treble of his own against Spurs last month.
With the Whites currently sitting a point and a place above the Gunners in the Barclays U21 Premier League table, Monday's clash is certain to be an interesting one as both sides aim to end their respective domestic campaigns on a high.
