Wanderers’ under-18 side travel to the capital tomorrow to face Adrian Viveash’s young Chelsea outfit.
Having seen their young team defeated on home soil last weekend by West Bromwich Albion, David Lee and Tony Kelly will be hoping the Whites can return to winning ways against their Stamford Bridge counterparts.
They will come up against a Chelsea side who drew 1-1 away to Manchester United last time out, a week after an inspired comeback in the same fixture saw Bolton run out 3-2 winners over the Red Devils.
A game in which in-form frontman Jamie Thomas notched two of his 17 league goals this term, Wanderers will be hoping that his purple patch in front of goal continues this weekend.
The Blues themselves have enjoyed a solid campaign and currently reside fourth in the Barclays Premier Academy League Southern Division standings with 46 points accumulated from their 27 games so far.
With the Whites sitting eighth in the Northern Division of the league following an impressive showing during the second half of the season, Lee and Kelly will be hoping that their young side can take confidence from recent results and end their campaign on a high.
The game will be played at Chelsea's Training Ground and Academy, Cobham, Surrey, kicking off at 1.30pm.
