Wanderers defender Tim Ream could be a £4million summer transfer target for West Brom, according to reports in the Black Country.
Baggies scouts are rumoured to have watched the US international at Doncaster last night and the club are tipped to swoop for the 26-year-old who has been one of the Whites’ star performers this season.
Whether Dougie Freedman would be open to selling the versatile defender is another matter after his consistent displays in a difficult season for Wanderers.
But West Brom are long-term admirers after being linked with Ream before he moved to the Reebok in January 2012 in a £2.5million deal from New York Red Bulls.
The defender spent a week training with Albion prior to joining the Whites.
Ream’s current contract at Wanderers runs until the summer of 2015.
