I'll be clapping them! Mainly aimed towards there recent form which again gives me hope for next season. I wonder if the money grabbing bar-stewards (Mears) will dare to do a lap, Dougie should make them.

As far as I am concerned, its just another season supporting Bolton Wanderers, and I've followed them for over 50 years, during which time I've seen all sorts of goings on. Had we been relegated I doubt I would bother, however, they're my team, whatever they do. (It just happens that this season they've been shit for most of it).
You're happy to applaud shit?
You need to re-evaluate your life.
At least I don't go on forums of teams that I don't support. If you having nothing remotely supportive, now the season is (almost) over, maybe you should get your own life in order, and move on.

I agree with Nat, all the Saturdays that the team has fucked the fans over '' A few I might add'' this is one of the few times you can tell them how you feel about it.
There is no golden rule stating you have to clap and show them your support, I think if the whole stadium turned their backs , and showed their arse, it would send out a message of , we are Bolton Wanderers, we don't stand for shit.

Exactly. You'll get people on here slagging Dougie and the players off, but put them in the ground at "lap of thanks" time and they'll be happy clapping with Reebok Trotter and the rest of the easily pleased. Makes no sense.

Agree with wanderlust here.wanderlust wrote:My understanding of a "Lap of Thanks" is that the players will applaud the fans - not the other way round.
Our fans deserve the applause for putting up with our terrible start to the season so patiently.
Wonder if Eagles and Mears will be there?
If you ask me, the entire crowd should stay and turn their backs on the players as they lap the ground. Wipe a few smug grins off their over-ponced faces.

AD, Perhaps you could turn up in your BWFC jockey shorts, and at the full time whistle, lead a charge across the pitch against the Zulu Chiefs? If you could incapacitate and decapitate their two main head honchos, Chaka and Dingaan, your bloodied undershorts could be displayed for posterity in the BWFC trophy room.

I will be there until the final whistle but the pull of Scotts after will be too strong for me . Now if the players came across the road and bought all in Scotts and Harvesters a few pints then the applause would be magnificent ?? Sorry been in the Sherry shed again, not an effing chance of something so simple happening as they will all be off to the airport asap !!!
