Jim Rockford - RIP

Just heard that James Garner has died at the ripe old age of 86.

I always liked him and still watch re-runs of The Rockford Files nowadays when they're on.

Obviously, I didn't know him in real life, but he always came across in interviews as a decent bloke.

RIP Jim, you'll have to get someone to change that message on your answerphone now.....

Very sad.Got series 1/2 of Rockford,so I'd better get the the rest before the opportunistic bastards put the price up. Noah Beery as his Dad was great. RIP.

I used to enjoy the Rockford Files. RIP Jim. Isn't his daughter an actress?

Always loved him for helping blind Colin to escape in "The Great Escape." What a man!

Just bought series 1 of 'Rockford' on Amazon. £10 for 25 episodes. Bargain.
