We know the prices and what needs to happen at other clubs for them to be willing to loan a player to us. So if it is Chris Wood we're probably dependant on Leicester getting somebody in first so they're not short, this is what happens when you have no money.

If that's the case, question is did the club know what is required BEFORE they announced that they expected to get all 3 before the end of the month?
If so, it's more of a possibility than a pipedream.
Does sound like the young Kiwi is the other target.

Is there a chance that the player Nixon is referring to is Zaha? Would make some sense. A 20 goal per season player on a season long loan. Zaha and DF have worked together before so Zaha understands the Scots random gibberings about formations etc, plus Zaha lives in the North West now.
