I'm not sure Mavies ball watching for 70 minutes will make much of a difference either. We're going to need 90+ minute players who are well up for it against Forest.

When Bolton Wanderers' approach to the game is positive, I'm generally pretty positive too. Win, lose or draw it doesn't matter. But, when we take the approach of a fatigued hippo, I'm quickly disinterested, and at a stretch, could be described as a moaner.
So far, under Freedman, I'm not particularly impressed with what I've seen or heard of our performances so I'm skewing negative. However, if Mavis even makes an appearance, never mind makes the difference between winning and losing, I'll be a very happy Wanderer.

You have to accept Mavies has a history of niggling little injuries that wouldn't have kept proper footballers out of a match like McGinlay, Taggert or N'Gotty.

Hes got a poorly little toe, fuck off with your self righteous bollocks, when would SKD, or Super John cried off with a fucking little toe injury? its all bollocks, Freedman comes out with this bullshit whenever he falls out with someone, Cavies was meant to be injured last season, yet Preston took him on, drop the Freedman is god act you tool, Freedman is beyond inept.Boggersbelief wrote:It's almost like he purposely injures himself eh nat

Ye Mavies has no history of injury, far more likely he's fallen out with freedman. How did we not realise this

Not saying that, just saying some footballers will play through minor injuries.

For fuck sake, he has a poorly toe, a little toe at that, if that gives him reason not to want to play, then he clearly has had enough here, anybody suggesting differently give your head a wobble, or it could be lies again from Freedman who clearly wants to strip us of all creativity, and caash in, what do we have without him? Trotter and Pratley, anybody happy with that, no thought not, my theory is its not Davies not wanting to play, but dumbass Freedman not wanting to risk his little biddy toe.

Say poorly all you want. It's broken, you don't play football with a broken toe it would just make it worse, so he'd be out for longer. Stop creating issues to moan about we've got enough.

The little toe is worst to break, that toe is key to keeping ones balance and a lot of pressure is put upon the little one. You certainly wouldn't be able to play through it

Er, let's not make things up - he hasn't broken his toe.

Whatever the reason the fact is that Mavies is an injury prone player. I wonder what the average number of games per season is. As always it's untapped potential but at 26 ? 27? it's starting to get too late to wait for much longer.

Er, let's not make things up - he hasn't broken his toe.
Yeah, that'd be terrible!
Making up lies to defend an obviously incorrect argument is what desperate losers do.
A bit like saying that Jay Jay Okocha's name was greeted with a chorus of boos when it was read out by the stadium announcer for a "significant part of his career"........
Or saying that Depression isn't recognised by the authorities as an illness in South Africa..........
Who would do such a thing......?
