Kevin McNaughton doubtful for trip to Brighton and Hove Albion

Wanderers defender Kevin McNaughton is set to miss Saturday’s trip to Brighton with a minor hamstring problem.

The full-back pulled up in the last few minutes of Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat against Middlesbrough and was replaced by youngster Hayden White.

Dougie Freedman was confident the injury would not mean a long lay-off for the Scot. Speaking after the game, he said: “He seems to think it isn’t a bad one, that maybe there is a little bit of cramp in there.

“It might have come about from playing Saturday-Tuesday, so we’ll look at that going into the Brighton game.”
