I think the break in Ibiza will have done Spearing and the team the world of good. No better way to recharge your batteries than relaxing in the sun. I fancy a 3-1 home win for the Whites.

I fear we will see the return of the 4-5-1 this weekend with Davies up top in his own - oh and a dross match which will be a 1-1 draw.

Once again I can't see farther than a draw at best.

There seems to be a suggestion that the return of Moxey is a good thing, with Ream and Mills able to resume their partnership in central defence.
The same partnership that got crushed at Watford and was lucky not to concede 10.
The fuckwit in charge would be better playing Ream on the left side of midfield to give us some fucking balance for a change. But I'm sure it'll be more diamond bollocks with a right footer on the left.

Moxey had a bad start but he is a left back by trade so i would rather see him there and put Ream back to centre back with Mills.
I have a feeling he will go back to a 451 as well.

Tomorrow is one of those situations where the players know that the manager's future is on the line so they have to decide whether to stand up and try and fight for the guy or maybe they're just not arsed if he goes. Be interesting to see what the attitude is.
As for the result, I used up my last shred of optimism in predicting we would beat Boro - so it's a loss from me.

Tyne and Wear-based referee Andy Haines takes charge of Wanderers’ home clash with Sheffield Wednesday this weekend as Championship action resumes following the recent international break.
Haines has twice before officiated Whites’ games in the past. He was in charge when Bolton thrashed Hull City at Macron Stadium in February 2013, while he also reffed Dougie Freedman’s side’s 1-0 win away at Barnsley on Boxing Day last season.
Paul Kettlewell and David Richardson will run the line, while Steven Copeland is the fourth official.

SETTING THE SCENE
Wanderers head in to Saturday’s clash with Sheffield Wednesday in search of their first league win of the season.
Despite having the inferior record in this fixture, it is in fact the Whites who boast the upper hand in recent meetings, losing just once against the Owls since 1998.
However, with Stuart Gray’s side losing just once since the start of the season, Bolton will need to be at their best if they are to ensure their recent strong run against their Sheffield counterparts continues.
ALL-TIME RECORD
TEAM NEWS
Owen Garvan goes straight into the first team squad against Sheffield Wednesday after signing on loan from Crystal Palace earlier this week.
Mark Davies, Kevin McNaughton and Dean Moxey are all nearing their returns from injury, having stepped up their respective comebacks over the course of the international break.
Liam Trotter and David Wheater will definitely miss out after coming off injured against Crewe Alexandra and Leeds United respectively.
Elsewhere, Marc Tierney and Sanmi Odelusi are the only other absentees for the Whites.
LAST TIME OUT
30/08/2014: Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Nottingham Forest
Sheffield Wednesday saw their unbeaten start to the 2014/15 season ended in their last match before the international break, as table toppers Nottingham Forest clinched a 1-0 victory at Hillsborough.
Fresh from signing a new contract with Forest, Henri Lansbury headed home the only goal of the game in the first half.
The Owls dominated the second half, with Atdhe Nuhiu even hitting the post late on, but they were unable to find a way past Karl Darlow as Forest held on for all three points.
Wednesday: Westwood, Mattock (Hope 85), Loovens, Semedo (Madine 64), Lees, Palmer, Coke, Maghoma, May, Nuhiu, Maguire (Helan 79).
ONE TO WATCH
After signing for Sheffield Wednesday on a six-month loan deal from Reading on transfer deadline day, Royston Drenthe has a point to prove after failing to live up to expectations at the Madejski Stadium.
The one-time Netherlands international started his career with Feyenoord, before signing for Real Madrid in August 2007.
He ended his first season in Spain with a La Liga winners’ medal, but that was as good as it got for Drenthe at the Bernabeu.
Loan moves to Hercules and Everton followed in 2010/11 and 2011/12, before he joined Russian side Alania Vladikavkaz following the expiration of his Madrid contract.
Signing for Reading on a free transfer at the start of last season, the winger made 24 appearances for the Royals, scoring two goals, before he was told he was free to find a new club at the end of the campaign.
LAST TIME THEY WERE HERE
19/10/2013: Bolton Wanderers 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday (Beckford 16, Baptiste OG 26)
Wanderers were unfortunate not to secure all three points the last time Wednesday visited Macron Stadium, having only goalkeeper Chris Kirkland to curse for their inability to clinch victory.
Jermaine Beckford fired the Whites into an early lead, running onto a clever flick from Neil Danns, but Wednesday were soon level as Alex Baptiste headed Jeremy Helan’s teasing cross into his own net.
Jermaine Johnson saw a second-half header ruled out for the Owls for offside, but after Jose Semedo was sent off late on for a foul on Jay Spearing it was Bolton who finished the stronger, with Kirkland needing to be at his best to keep out headers from Tim Ream and Baptiste.
