Tony Kelly
Our club is descending below the realms it sank towards the end of the Megson reign. The fans are fed up with the lack of communication coming from the club's Communications Dept. What happened to the fans liaison, Tony Kelly? He used to be all over Twitter! Has he been silenced now as well?
It seems like the only news that comes out about our club is negative.
The fans want to feel connected to the club. They want to be united behind the team and the manager. Now, only a new manager can unite the fans and the club again.
Hipster, I think you are missing the glaringly obvious point. Dougie has had 2 years to convince the minority of doubting fans by results on the pitch. The problem is after 2 years all fans can see that our team and players were good enough to bounce straight back up to the Prem, if not by automatic promotion, certainly by the playoffs, and he has spent the best part of a full season getting rid of those players and replacing them with lower Championship bench warmers.
Yes, the fans have had enough and are angry that the senior officials at the club cannot see the same thing.

Would you not have slagged DF off in the first place if he was English, Bread?

My opinion of him is based squarely on (in my opinion) his lack of progress in developing the football side of the business.
ie, He's a shit football manager.
It has nothing whatsoever to do with his nationality.
Indeed, I would go as far as to say I applaud him for overcoming a disability as obviously debilitating as being Scottish clearly is and proving that he's almost as good as us English people.
Well played young Douglas!

I'm not that shallow.
I do genuinely like the guy though, might not be as good a manager as many people want him to be but some of the stick is way way over the top for me. A lot of it seems to rest squarely on his nationality, so maybe that question should be re-worded and put to some other people.

Hipster was born in Coventry, why do people assume he's Scottish?

I wasn't born anywhere near Coventry. I'm about as close to Coventry as Nat is to Preston.

You do realize that even if Nat was fibbing about being in Preston and still lived in Little Lever, that's still quite close, don't you....?
Where are you then......Northampton......Birmingham.......Rugby?

How dare you doubt my location. I'm stood on my penthouse balcony looking out over the water, I can see the lights of Fishergate Hill reflecting in the bronze statue of Mark Lawrenson.

I wasn't doubting you, I was just pointing out how daft Hipster's point was.
Sorry for any offence caused.
Can you see Blackpool Tower from up there?

Yes I do... if she was in Little Lever.
I live in Scotland, my whole family is Scottish I've lived here most of my life I consider myself Scottish but I was born in England as I've said many many times. Bit like Hannah Miley the swimmer or someone like that.
