We've done a couple of things recently that hopefully may encourage new people to join Nuts and become regular posters on here, which in turn will make the forum busier, more varied and that much better for all of us on Nuts - well that's the plan anyway.

The first thing we've done is to achieve NewsNow 'membership'.

This is basically a news gathering site on all things BWFC related - it's where fans and other forums such as Burnden Aces and the Lion of Vienna go to, to get their breaking news stories on the club - here is a link to it.

http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Championship/Bolton+Wanderers

What we hope to do is to post 'articles' on to there, linking back to this site, which hopefully people visiting NewsNow will find interesting and encourage them to visit here, become members - and start to post.

The other thing we have done is to pay (out of our own pockets) for the removal of adverts for non members who view the site. We thought that although we as members are advert free (unless we forget to pay our bill, which we have done once or twice before!), non members still could see the ads which may put them off wanting to join up here.

Well we've removed that possible issue now and the site is completely advert free to everyone viewing Nuts.

We are the only BWFC forum absolutely free to view as we don't seek donations, run ads or have a sponsor (or sponsor anyone).

Our next step is to start to get articles written, to publish on NewsNow for other Wanderers fans to see and read and hopefully entice them to have a look at the Nuts forum and become members here.

We've already had a number of you such as LuckyPeterPiper, Wanderlust and Reebok Trotter to name just three, to do articles for us in the past.

What we need is your help in writting a few more please.

We'd be ever so grateful if everyone of you would do us an article (any article!) say a minimum of three paragraphs (more if you can manage it) on anything BWFC. This could include such things as your favourite player, your favourite match, the best goal you've seen, best away ground you've been to, funniest thing you've seen at a match, what happened for you to get arrested, how your girlfriend dumped you for putting the club before her, anything at all really.

It can be serious, it can be funny, it can be zanny, it can even make us cry!

We've done fantastically well so far to get the NewsNow link and get rid of the site ads completely, we just need now to get a regular stream of articles to put on NewsNow in order that people get familiar with the site 'Bolton Nuts' and cutious enough to want to come and see what we are about.

Please just take a few minutes of your time, write something and post it below on this thread. You don't have to be Shakespeare or anything, whatever you do will be much appreciated and any typo's or whatever sorted out before it is posted to the world of fellow Bolton fans. It's not hard to do really.

We want Nuts to get bigger and better, we hope you do to, so please, we need your help, to achieve that.

Thank you.

I could manage 2000 words on Brucie and his undercover work during the Boer war.
I could also give you a few paragraphs from my forthcoming book(no publisher as yet}
'Sitting Bull:His Jewish ancestry revealed'.
None of this is BWFC related though.
