Whenever a child is killed, why are the people involved always scrubbers?

It doesn't matter who does the killing, whether it be a parent, friend, dog or it was a complete accident, 99% of the time the family involved are scrubbers.

Is it fair to say scrubbers have no moral standards, and that middle & upper class people are actually better people? I think it is.

Are you saying that anyone who isn't middle class or upper class is a scrubber?

I'm saying that when anything bad happens it's almost always caused by scrubbers. I'm asking if anyone thinks middle/upper class people are actually nicer human beings.

I think they are.

I see you're declining to answer my question.

Well my opinion is that there is working class, and in the last 20 years, we have seen the development of a tier below working class, an underclass if you will, the type you see on Jeremy Kyle. I think you're referring to them when you talk about scrubbers, rather than decent working class folk.

I am unashamedly working class and if anyone described me as middle class I would be insulted.

Yes, agree with your underclass point, those are the type of people I mean.

You are not working class though Largehat, you are the most middle class bloke on here.

You are middle class, you just don't want to accept it. Working class people don't go to Uni.

They could when I went, when you got your fees paid, a maintenance grant and student loan was optional to pay your living costs.

Bullshit. I've read all your posts on here and there's no way you are working class. I'll bet you're an accountant.

Nope, I have a degree in English from a top 10 university, and taught English for a year after University, but didn't enjoy it for various reasons. You don't have to be middle class to be educated.

I'm upper class.

I would cross the street to avoid working class people like Largehat and you Natasha.

Yuck!

I agree with LH, which begs the questions, what is a 'scrubber' and what is 'middle class'.Is it income, attitude, education, or what ?

Education and attitude.

Ok, I think your right that it seems to be people with poor, or lower incomes, and not the best education, that seem to appear in these stories, but lets not class all low earners, or poorly educated, as bad people, which the term 'scrubbbers' implies. The money leads to education, and both lead to better opportunities. Some people just dont get either.

Everyone of sane mind knows the difference between right and wrong, it's just an excuse to blame it on lack of education or money.

I just think the underclass of the working class sector are the scum of society.

Easy answer. Most people in this country are scrubbers. They are the majority. And, in turn, they also have the most kids. So the statistics are up straight away.

Well that's sorted out all society's problems apart from what we should do with the underclass. Perhaps chemical castration for everyone who doesn't pass a financial test? Genetic profiling could have a big role to play in Natasha's final solution. Personally I think everyone who hasn't got blonde hair and blue eyes should be topped as they clearly aren't British and have no place here. If we combine that with an IQ threshhold of say 120 so that there'd be some servants and people to empty the bins left we could downsize the population to an easy-to-manage million or so.
