Dougie'll put out the kids, we'll get slaughtered and Dougie says "I had to put the kids out as the Championship is our priority and I don't want to risk injury for any of the poor little darlings who can't hold it up for 90 minutes, but they have been sheltered. Also Chelsea were lucky. Once they scored the first 11 goals our heads seem to go down and it became a lost cause but we came back with a couple of good throw-ins and the pies at half time were hot. There's a cloud in every silver lining."

What can we get from this game? It's fairly clear that our cup run will come to an end so rather than just turn up and go through the motions wouldn't it be a good idea to use the game for total experimentation?
Chelsea usually go with 4231 or similar so why not have a go with a suicidal 352 and see how a back 3 would cope if the midfield is swamped and only i is a defensive mid instead of trying to hold the fort with Spearing and Medo?
We'll get murdered but at least we can use the experience to check out a few ideas.

I'd love to see that happen but it's impossible to second guess Dougie where the starting line up is concerned.

I don't think he'll risk the kids, I think it'll be full strength.
He'll get crucified if he sends out the kids and they lose 15-0. Not that I'm saying the 1st team won't lose 15-0.

Why are we even playing this game?
We're going to get bummed and we're not going to make any money out of it, either.
The only think that we might pick up is a couple of injuries.
Can we not petition the Football League to just award Chelsea the win?
Surely that'd be the most sensible course of action?

No.
5-0 using Chelsea 2nd string
No. If it was going to happen it would have already.

I was just thinking that Max Clayton may well get a game.
Then I thought about Chelsea's reserve striker getting a run out. Drogba. Shit.

Chelsea's likely line up is Cech; Luis, Zouma, Cahill, Ivanovic; Mikel, Ake; Salah, Oscar, Schurrle; Remy

They will get 2 or 3 in the first half then relax ....have a kick about. What's the point of them killing themselves on a game like this. 4-0 at best.
Anything less than that and we will have Doogie getting credit for out thinking Mourino.
