I think Chrome is now the most popular internet browser. IE is fast losing its popularity.

IE was only popular because it shipped with so many computers,and people couldn't be bothered changing.

To be fair, years ago even though it shipped with every Windows operating system, there wasn't much choice apart from Netscape from what I recall, even the AOL/Compuserve software (remember the war with the free discs?) used IE.

I can't really understand why,given a choice,anyone would want to use IE.
