Andy Kellett joins Plymouth Argyle on loan

Andy Kellett has joined Plymouth Argyle on a one-month loan deal.

Kellett, 20, will join up with the League Two outfit in time for John Sheridan’s side’s home clash against Carlisle United tomorrow, with the Pilgrims currently residing in sixth in the league standings.

A product of the club’s academy, the full-back is a regular fixture for the Under-21 and development squad and has so far made three senior appearances for the Whites.

I'm amazed at how quickly Kellett played himself out of Lenny's immediate plans.
Either that or old boy John Sheridan has been pulling some strings.

He's not good enough, not yet anyway.

Right decision.

He may have been identified as one for the future and has been sent to get first team experience with a view to challenging for a first team spot next year.

Lennon has admitted himself today that he hasn't had a good look at the under 21's yet, so I think it's a good move for the lad to go out and get some first team football under his belt.

I believe Iliev has had his loan at Carlisle extended as well. Sorry if I'm behind the times with that snippet.
